Krisa Gonna L'Whor is a community fire starter.
She’s not following footsteps; she’s leaving flaming tracks. Krisa is the mother of a movement.
Originally from Brazil, Krisa adopted Colorado as her home in 2016. Multi-hyphenate, she knows no boundaries when it comes to self expression, beauty and vision. In 2020, she became one of very few drag artists in the world to give a TED talk. In 2021, her animated short "From Shame to Pride", based on her TED talk was selected for Movie Festivals in the U,S, Brazil, China and Australia. She is also the 2025 DIVA AWARD winner in the category Colorado Breakthrough Drag Artist.
She revitalized the drag scene in Northern Colorado, creating more shows and opportunities for performers of all types. She has opened for Alaska Thunderfuck and hosted/produced this year's Drag Latinx segment at the Main Stage of Denver PrideFest.
She co-created one of Colorado's biggest drag shows and two time DIVA Award Best Drag Show nominee: A Drag Christmas Spectacular, a hybrid of a theater play and a drag show. With two international tours under her belt with shows in Italy and Brazil, she brings her charisma and Brazilian flavors wherever she goes.

Krisa has been teaching “Brazilian Beats” dance class for 7 years now! This all-level “zumba style” class is a fun way to get your body moving with friends or break the ice at an outside of work activity!
